Due to his love of space…we figured Mack would love to see the memorial gardens for the space shuttles that crashed and the memorials for the ‘Challenger’ and the ‘Columbia’ crews.
What a beautiful solemn place. It was so peaceful yet sad. We realized after that it was also a memorial for all that worked in Aviation, dating soooooo many years back. What a wonderful place to reflect.
