While back in the Riviera Maya for our family vacation, our son wanted to play golf (as he had just picked up the interest) so his Uncle Chris was kind enough to take him under his wing for the day at an amazing Nick Price golf course. Located just minutes away from Playa Del Carmen, Mack spent a memorable 15th birthday golfing with his Uncle at the Grand Coral Golf Riviera Maya, Mexico.
The course is very friendly and well groomed. Considering the type of course the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
This renowned designer Golf Course has 18 holes that wind through incredible topography of natural jungle and appeals to golfers of all skill levels. Grand Coral is an 18 hole par 71 course with a number of shaded areas along the course. There are a number of water features along the course and the staff are very attentive to customer needs throughout the course and provide on course food and beverage service. They also have a large practice area that includes a driving range, putting green and a sand bunker to warm up or practice prior to playing the main course. They also provide golf lessons via PGA Professional.
Grand Coral Golf Riviera Maya is a full service facility with premium services including golf carts and rental services of exceptional equipment (including tailor made clubs) just in case you didn’t bring (or fly down with) your own clubs. The staff are happy and ready to assist in accommodating any/all of your needs and provide a snack bar on premise which includes a wide range of beverages.
The Club house is centrally located (allowing a fantastic view of the golf course) and includes a Golf Pro Shop, Spa Services, Snack Bar, Locker Room, Safety Deposit Boxes and a Gym with pool and showers. The Club House also has a full service Restaurant with an 80 Guest capacity for events which is located on the second floor, providing a panoramic view of the stunning golf course.
Just in case you want stay close to the course, we suggest you check out the Pure Marezul Riviera Maya in Playa del Carmen. Along with direct access to the Grand Coral Golf course, you also have direct access to the 5th Avenue, white sandy beaches with turquoise water ♥
