RV/MH Hall of Fame

If you are ever in Northern Indiana this is a must see .. although from its exterior it looks like just another large building .. it’s what’s inside that is so incredible.

Opened in 1972, the Hall of Fame has been increasingly developed over the years.  The history this facility provides is priceless.   What we found most interesting was the display of countless RV and MotorHome styles from the 20th Century, showcasing the developments and innovations throughout the years.  The creativity to provide comfort and security ensuring you could explore nature from the front seat.  Not to mention the versatility of functional designs implemented from the very beginning.

They have done a great job setting up and displaying a large number of units walking you back through time to see the  evolution of the RV industry.  As we toured the facility we could not believe the condition of the units or the amount of work that had been done to restore and preserve so many priceless RV/MH.

When visiting the RV/MH Hall of Fame they allow you to park overnight the night before and the night after visiting the museum.  There are no water, sewer or electric hook ups available however they have a list of full hook up Campgrounds in the area on there website 🙂

They now have plans to ensure a positive cash flow to make certain the Hall will be around for a long time to come, with goals to expand the Hall of Fame, Event Center, Rally Site, Parking, Offices and a Manufactured Housing Museum .. to be completed by 2020 or sooner.

We can all help support this expansion and to safeguard our future generations access to the knowledge history provides, make sure to visit the

The RV/MH Hall of Fame has a Museum, Library, Gift Shop and Event Center.  That fact that so many corporations and people have come together to preserve the history of RV/MH’s and to have a library to honour the many people that helped create the foundation is inspiring.
