For years, Les’ family had a cabin in GlenHaven (Washington) so he grew up enjoying the Skagit Speedway in Alger, Washington.
Over the years, our kids have also been to the Speedway several times, enjoying most occasions 😉 It’s a great family outing and there is always a great race to be seen during racing season; with a wide variety of competitions and several classes of racing .. Midgets, Sprint Cars, Outlaw Tuners and more!
You can also make a camping trip out of it!
Grab your tent, grab your trailer or grab your RV!!! On all race weekends, ‘dry’ camping is available on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis. Special Event Weekends are a little more $$ but still reasonable 🙂
Just remember .. sitting at the end of the track in drier weather means a lot of dirt and a lot of clay bombs .. and if you’re in the stands, BRING A CUSHION 🙂
